It started because we were located near a cinema on Jalan Solo, and the chef himself enjoys watching movies,” explains Nur Kristianingsih, an employee at the bakery. Cinema Bakery has been in operation for nearly six years and has expanded to include another branch in the Prawirotaman area. However, all bread production takes place at the Jalan Palagan location.

According to Nur, all the menu items at Cinema Bakery are considered special. “We have quiches, pastries, croissants, all made in a special, French style,” she says. “All the items are equally delicious, it just depends on the customer’s preference,” she adds. Quiche, a popular French dish, comes in a variety of flavors such as tuna, mushroom, chicken, beef, and more.

In addition to the savory delights, Cinema Bakery also offers delectable sweet treats like baked mozzarella, garlic bread, and an assortment of macarons. The macarons come in 12 different flavors, including green tea, blueberry, strawberry, banana, orange, and more. And let’s not forget about the lollipops!

Nur proudly mentions that everything at Cinema Bakery, including the lollipops, is handmade using only the finest ingredients. Chef Cedric echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of quality. “For me, quality is paramount. We use butter in all our products, never margarine. We only use premium ingredients,” he says.
